Only two weeks until my sweet little Twist is back on the same coast as me.  What a difficult year it has been for her, for me, for everyone who loves her.  I have to say, though, I am so thankful for all the time, energy, love and care my parents have been dedicating to her.  We are so lucky to be so loved.

Rachel sent me this audio clip of her and Charlie to share some of Charlie's adorable first giggles.  I'll never get over how cute he sounds.  His giggles make me smile and laugh every time I listen to them.  He is changing so much every day and all of his "firsts" are so exciting.

here we come, st. thomas!

I'm off to St. Thomas tomorrow with Megan, Ashley and Sharlene!!!  It has been ten years since I last took a Caribbean vacation with girlfriends.  We have nothing major planned for our stay, but we'll probably do a day trip to St. John and spend a lot of time reading/relaxing/listening to music/sipping fruity cocktails at the beach and by the pool.  Megan has told me all about the nightlife in Red Hook, so I know we'll have a ridiculous amount of fun too!  (Yes, Mom + Dad - we'll be careful...)  We booked this trip nine months ago, so it's hard to believe IT IS FINALLY HERE!!!
