I bid my sweet little Twister farewell on Sunday evening (June 29, 2014). She was my little miracle, having survived Hurricane Katrina and many major health crises over the last several years - pancreatitis, lung disease, diabetes, blindness (to name a few). Twister taught me many things about life, but her strong spirit, failure to give up and her positive attitude during all her various health struggles are most notable. I'll miss my little love, but am thankful for all the years we spent together. She never gave up and is finally at peace. I love you forever, my sweet Twist. Rest in peace, baby girl.
